A Humorous Look At A Chinese Tragedy
April 6th 2008 19:15
Lately there have been many protests against the Summer Olympics host Country, China. Human Rights, Tibet, etc., and anything else that can shed light on the world's highest consumer and polluter. We have to remember that at one time, China stood alone with it's communist friends and didn't care what the world thought. Military was given higher priority than humans and their rights. Let's face it, human life was only worth a bag of rice at one time in China.
So China has come along way. Heck they've come along way since that American Idol reject who sang 'she bang' proved that the Chinese are tone-deaf by making him a Chinese idol for a brief period!
I've written about the delis with giant rats and their gourmet shops in toilet stalls, which proves that 'you are what you eat'. Now I'm going to talk about feeding time at the zoo. It seems that in China, the zoos and circuses have a poor record of keeping people away from harm.
Take for example the mentally ill man who loved tigers and decided to go and pet one! Dinner is served! There was also the boy who had his arm ripped-off by a lion. A boy eaten by a crocodile. A girl attacked and bitten on the head by a tiger who died.
This must really save on animal feed. It also should be a message that these wild animal attractions should be better regulated or the wild animals should be left in the wild. One has to wonder if lawsuits exist in China and if not, maybe they should!
