You'll be glad to know that the USA has put out it's list of the top 1000 Popular Baby Names from 2000-06. The list as with anything that comes from the government is a bit deceiving. The names are for both males and females.

Heard about Belgium and most of Europe? Most popular name for boys is Mohammed. In the USA variables appear at numbers 641, 557, 574, 490, and possibly elsewhere. From just those 4 variables, Mohammed totals circa 11320 which puts the name at #219 in the USA.

Should the USA worry? Only if Osama is #1!
