The New Orleans Project

When it comes to spending money, from the smallest municipilaty to the federal government, all spend the taxpayers' money without hesitation. Back in the 80s we were shocked, shocked I say, to find the military was spending over $500 for a hammer!
The do-nothing Congress always votes itself a large raise in salary, while not raising being able to raise the minimum wage. Most can blame presidents, kings, pontifs and dictators, but politics are always a dirty business! Like sports, everyone chooses sides and roots for their team, and will never admit guilt or fault with their team or party!
That's just life.
When contributions are made to individuals and parties there is always a speculation that the contributions are for 'political' favors. Many try to get those lucrative government contracts. This is because you are guaranteed money for a solution to a problem. Even if the solution is a bogus $500 hammer!
New Orleans should be assured that it is safe from another Katrina. That's as long as it doesn't get another DIRECT hit by a hurricane! Now see what politician hired Moving Waters Industry Corps, and blame them instead of the other politicians!
