The Knights Of Prosperity...cancelled?

It's a pity that sometimes the hype has more substance than the actual show. The Knights of Prosperity was a show about a group of misfits who planned on getting rich by kidnapping Mick Jagger and holding him for ransom. The show was supposed to blossom into some type of celebrity kidnapping spree after Jagger. Unfortunately, in my opinion the shows didn't live up to their hype. The plot to kidnap Mick keeps running into impossible obstacles that are overcome by the powers of fiction, luck and long-shots!
The best episode was when they hired a personal trainer to train them on self-defense and pressure points. They also chose their Knights' theme as Tom Sawyer by Rush, one of my favorite bands. Other than that the show really isn't exciting even with Mick's appearences from time-to-time.
After the first show ratings have plummetted. Although they blame it on American Idol that runs in the same time-slot, it is beyond that.So even though ABC is going to change the KoP's time-slot the show seems doomed.
That shouldn't really be a big deal seeing it will become a 'cult classic' and sold on DVD!
The show did have it's moments and most ignored the many subtle stereotypical jabs it offered. It made a janitor, or custodian, a criminal mastermind. The fat black guy who got the job as Jagger's bodyguard. An Arab cabbie. The smart nerd. The hot Latina. Read it yourself.
The show overall probably rated a 3 out of 5 in my opinion. But just the Rush episode would add a point and made The Knights of Prosperity worth checking out!
