The Imploding Health Care System

I have my reason why I am against this universal health care system in the USA. I remember, as I stated elsewhere, when the government brought in the HMOs. Suddenly the health care changed. In many ways for the better, but the not better ways may cost you your health or your life. Then again I may be totally wrong or it depends on which side of the spectrum you are on.
I've experienced a 'free' universal health care in a European country back in the '70s. It sucked. I was in a hospital for a minor problem for over a week!
Now the health care system is imploding. Not in the USA. In Canada!
