Symbol Of Peace

When we think of a peace symbol usually a dove and olive branch come to mind. Apparently between Israel and Jordan the symbol is a barn owl! The owl has been very effective in controlling the rat population without using pestisides. Once mortal enemies, Israel and Jordan are cooperating in increasing the owls' populations, and hope the idea spreads to other countries in the Middle East.
Barn owls are very voracious and can consume up to 10 rats per day. What was once a laughable idea has become a common trend between the two countries.
