AAAaaaarrrggghh! Ever believe in something so much that people refuse to listen to the message. Being a Christian in the USA is tough because the message is that the Country is founded on Christian principals. Many quote the, a-hem, forefathers that quote both pro-Christian and not so pro-Christian values. Then of course there isn't one Christian group that totally agrees with the other and even individuals vary in their views and interpretation.
Cults have become gentler and more mainstream than ever before. They still do their recruiting and the world is still full of the gullible fools that will lose their money. They often disrupt those who don't want to hear them but are forced because of their unconventional means that do nothing but drive people further from Jesus Christ.
In the USA people argue over the country being founded on good Christian values and morals. They quote everyone but the #1 authority...Jesus. What Did Jesus Say...“Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”
What does that mean? God realizes that you live in the world of Caesar, whose laws may be different from God's. Government runs the government and God runs the divine. The two can co-exist but can never clash. If you bring God into Caesar's world, or vice-versa, then worlds collide. Caesar now is given a right to go into God's world.
If you think the USA is based on Christianity and should be run in a Christian manner, then you are a hypocrite when you critisize the countries run by theological views different from your own.
Modern Christians seem to ask 'What Would Jesus Do' but try to make it easy on themselves. If something offends us, do away with it! We forget that Jesus was subject to temptation and his great attribute was that he never gave into it! Trying to do away with the temptations of the world is impossible and it makes Caesar angry.
If a program offends you...Don't Watch! If a type of music offends you...Don't Listen! If certain language is offensive...Don't Listen! Your freewill makes it possible to avoid temptation instead of imposing your views on others. You are suppose to avoid temptation, moron, not eliminate it! Talk about an easy pass to heaven...perhaps there will be a rude awakening at the Gathering!
Other religions including atheists, nature lovers, bored no-lifes, and the rest can be hypocrites and think that this doesn't apply to them also!
