Poetic Justice
July 2nd 2009 21:37
According to Answers.com, the definition of poetic justice is n.The rewarding of virtue and the punishment of vice, often in an especially appropriate or ironic manner.
So I came up with a couple in the headlines from my corner of the world.
Whether you believe in God or nature, I'm going to start with a major poetic justice event. A burglar falls asleep while robbing a church! Perhaps it was a Divine Intervention, or the missing link. Justice was served!
A city councilman who led a ban on pit bulls may see his Labrador euthanized after it bites a neighbor. Sad as that is, the councilman brought it on himself.
