The Governator And The Pedophile

You're allowed to write your politicians and tell them what is on your mind. Most of the time they go ignored. Getting quick attention to yourself with an early response usually involves a perceived threat. The response might not always be to your liking, but usually you inadvertently brought it onto yourself. That is just ignorance when something like that happens. What's stupid is when you threaten a politician over an actual illegal activity. What's really stupid is being caught with something even more illegal than the other illegal activity!
That is what basically happened in California where Arnold Schwarzenegger is the governor. The man in question e-mailed the governor protesting the lack of enforcement of California's Compassionate Use Act. This is what was voted in California for medicinal marijuana. This was OK, but then he calls the governor a Nazi and threatens him with physical harm.
So now the alarms go off at the governor's security forces which happens to be the California Highway Patrol. In NYS it is the NY State Police that is in charge of the governor's security. That's why some are in hot water over that Spitzer affair!
CHP officers show up to this guy's house to check him out. Now many of these turn out to be harmless individuals that were just venting or have psychological issues or something. Rarely are they actual killers. But sometimes they are arrested for another crime that they forgot to cover. This guy had a computer full of kiddie porn!
The downsides are that this guy only got 5 years in a federal prison. A federal prison is like a country club in most cases. Then of course they can only house him with his own...pedophiles!
