Moral Rank

There are people who get offended when others use curse words. Some even show their disapproval by words or gestures. People should keep in mind that words are just words. Then again people who do use curse words can sometimes appear that they are using then to belittle someone, especially during an argument. I think among people who are comfortable with each other like friends, certain family members and co-workers, using foul language may be acceptable.
The point is that if people get offended by foul language they sometimes have to accept it. If it's not targeting them, they are basically eavesdropping. If it's a group of vocal friends, then maybe they should tone it down. But to be offended and vocal about it, may be a high society rank establishment on the barbaric. This according to this article that argues that there are bigger morality issues in the world than foul language.
