Living in the Past

Should something one has done in the past affect their job status in the present? Louisa Tuck works as a cafeteria and playground aide at D'Ippolito Elementary. Some parents have a problem with that. It seems that Tuck is retired porn star, Crystal Gunns. Although she has done nothing wrong, many parents and school officials are seeking a legal way to have her dismissed!
She also works at a YMCA and her co-worker says she's a great person.
I really don't see what the problem is, especially if she does her job without complaints. It's unfortunate that she was in a profession that many deem lacking morals and leading to the corruption of society. If it doesn't affect her duties there should be no judgment against her. If we were to judge school districts by articles in the news, we should think about the rise in teachers who have sex with children. These are usually the ones with clean backgrounds!
