A pregnant woman collapses in a bakery and as luck would have it there were a couple of emergency medical technicians on their coffee break. Instead of helping the woman the EMTs told workers to call 9-1-1 and left. The woman and her unborne baby died. The 2 EMTs were under a criminal investigation for this callous act.
Now Emergency Medical Technicians are under a lot of stress and see more blood and gore than the rest of us. Still this was no excuse to leave a woman in need to die, because of a coffee break.
