Although we hear what we hear about Iran, what with President Nutjob and all, it seems that Western culture is coming back! OK, you still have the Islamic Law thingy, but Iran seems to be finding loopholes in the system. Those who believe that love, religion, beliefs, etc., are what makes the world go round, foget about the prime mover known as money!
A new, a-hem, sport has come to Iran, and what appears to be a statement from It's chamber of commerce, states the following:
“We are very proud to have introduced this thrilling and exciting new sport in Iran. We extend a warm welcome to Muslims and non-Muslims around the world, male or female, young or old, to visit us in sunny Iran."
Sunny Iran? Isn't it a desert? Oh well. The thrilling and exciting new sport is skydiving. Skydiving that caters also to women! Remember that Iran is known for not allowing women in soccer arenas when men are present(which is anytime there is a game), and now plans to teach them to skydive with women instructors!
They also have use to the first Western aircraft since 1979. Yes, the Ayatollah Khomeini would cry if he saw today's Iran.
