Happy Beer Birthday

I might not be crazy about them, but canned beer is celebrating its 75th birthday. This link, besides talking about canned beer, goes into a bit of history about beer. From its origins to the Middle Ages to the Prohibition, beer has been around for an estimated 6000 years.
I may have neglected to write about the cancer prevention element in beer. After all it is always debatable as to whether alcohol really is good for you in any amount. But it is one more study to prove that beer may have health qualities that in moderation can help against cancer.
Ironically, I am not a big fan of hoppy, bitter beers. So it looks like they may become my beer of choice.
