Disney Refunds for Gullible Parents
October 25th 2009 16:55
What parent wouldn't want their child to become a genius at 5 years-old? Is it any wonder that even a reputable company may find a way to market a pipe dream to this effect? Disney once marketed a false hope to make your little infant or toddler a genius before the age of 5.
They showed 2 year-olds reading at a high school level. Baby Einstein was flying off the shelves as dumb parents wanted a highly intelligent child and progeny. As it turns out the product did not increase a baby or toddlers intelligence, but served as the perfect babysitter.
So now the company is giving refunds for returned products. The refund should include a note on how to be a less gullible parent for the sake of your child!
