Buying Crack From Cops
April 2nd 2008 14:42
Perhaps I should have kept The Dope Chronicles blog from mergering into this current blog. The material just keeps coming. It is news, though, and serves the purpose.
When cops stop a car for a traffic violation and the driver has no documentation, the first instinct is that the car is stolen. The police call the registered owner and leave a message on her machine. After determining that the car was not stolen they let the driver go on his way. Later the owner calls the number left on her answering machine and proceeds to to put in an order for crack!
That's right, she thought the police was her crack dealer so she puts in an order. So they set up a meeting and arrest her and her fiance. As the cops put it, it was a case of sheer luck and stupidity!
