Beer Talk

I'll bet I can make you an amateur beer connoisseur in this entry. In my early years on the internet I was sort of beer critic/connoisseur and would write my critiques at a site that paid for such entries. I had other beer lovers criticize and correct me when I needed to and gained much knowledge on the subject.
I would describe the smell and the flavor and also what foods went good with which beers. I had to do research beyond the tasting and drinking, and eventually got good at it. I have many books on the topic and tried to learn about beer from the top authority the now deceased Michael Jackson. Not that one, this one!
What type of beer goes with which food? This use to be challenging because wine is a lot easier. Now you can impress your friends!
Don't know where to start when it comes to good beer? Here's a good place to start.Of the top 6, I've had 3!
The final thing to know is if you prefer a beer with the flavor malt or yeast or hops as the dominating factor in flavor preference.
