A Hugo Chavez Christmas

Apparently President Hugo Chavez believes that a US attack is imminent. The President of Venezuela is at odds with Columbia over this fact. Now Hugo accuses Columbia of sending unmanned spy planes to spy on him. Maybe Chavez is getting a bit paranoid, or maybe he isn't. Nobody's telling!

If you think about it, Hugo Chavez is always wearing a Christmas-y red outfit, so he might appreciate Columbia's response to his delusional paranoia. Columbia's defense chief joked that Venezuela's President and troops must mistake Santa's sleigh for 'spy planes'!


It is Christmas after all and Santa is known to make 'dry runs' before Christmas Eve. Look at the date of the article. Santa and his sleigh make an appearance days before the big event. Maybe Hugo isn't all that crazy!
