300 Strikes and You're Out!

The 3-strikes-and-you-are-out rule was meant to give a life sentence jail term to anybody who commits 3 felonies. It is spreading quickly from one state to the other. It is an attempt to deter criminals from repeating their crime.
It seems that some felons have grandfather...or grandmother...rights. No amount of strikes will get them put away. A 60 year old career criminal continues to get captured and released. She gives a new argument to the 3-strikes program.
She also points to a failed system!
